Mountain cabin with view over Breilivatn

About this house

In the heart of Kyrkjebygdheia, you will find this spacious mountain apartment with room for several generations. With 6 bedrooms spread over 2 floors, 2 bathrooms, and a loft with a living room and TV, there is plenty of space for both socializing and privacy. The large veranda with a fire pit and panoramic views of Breilivatn will quickly become the center of your stay.

Inside, you will find a cozy living room with a fireplace, a large dining table, and a well-equipped kitchen. One of the bathrooms has a sauna – perfect after a day in the snow or on the hiking trail. One of the bedrooms has a workspace, so you can also take a few days off to work in the mountains.

The cabin is located in a sunny mountain area with direct access to trails and cross-country ski tracks. In summer, you can take the rowboat or one of the two kayaks out on Breilivatn, while winter offers 60 km of groomed ski trails and the nearby Kyrkjebygdheia ski center.

Take a trip to Skornetten, the highest mountain in the area, or fish for trout in one of the many fishing areas. Gautefall, Vrådal, and Jettegrytene are a short drive away, and in Kyrkjebygda you will find a 24-hour grocery store 10 minutes away.
