Modern summerhouse by Silkeborg Lakes

About this house

From this architect-designed summer house in the first row to the Silkeborg Lakes, you can enjoy an uninterrupted view of the water, surrounded by beautiful rhododendrons and tall trees. Large windows allow nature to flow into the house and allow you to follow the changing seasons from almost every room.

The interior design combines modern comfort with classic Scandinavian cottage charm through details such as birch wood paneling and a cozy fireplace. The large sliding doors in the kitchen and living room can be opened completely onto the terrace, allowing the indoors and outdoors to merge into a harmonious whole.

The 1,500 sqm natural grounds give you plenty of space for outdoor activities, while the 100 sqm terrace invites you to spend long days in the sun. Here you can gather around the outdoor fireplace and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere with a view of the lake.

By boat or canoe, you can explore the extensive lake system with the Paradise Islands and Denmark's cleanest lake, Slåensø, right in your backyard. The area also offers fantastic hiking and mountain biking trails through the forests, and you have easy access to both Silkeborg and Aarhus for cultural experiences.
