About this house

Located on the idyllic Ellertshäuser Lake in Franconia, just a few minutes' walk from the shore, this renovated 1964 maisonette architect's house skillfully combines vintage elements with modern comforts.

Glass bricks from the 60s give the house a nostalgic touch, while the lovingly designed interior made of natural materials, selected vintage pieces as well as designer furniture gives a feeling of ease and slow living. The living area, which is open plan except for the bedroom and toilet, creates a welcoming atmosphere. Once here, you'll instantly fall in love with the open gallery, freestanding bathtub, and cozy Swedish stove. The bedroom features untreated and sustainable materials that guarantee a restful night's sleep in a natural environment.

The incomparable location of the house offers you the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation. The feeling of walking barefoot through the still damp grass in the morning and looking out over the sparkling waters of the lake is incomparable. In addition to its gorgeous surrounding landscape, the house on the lake also impresses with its magnificent garden, which is your very own oasis of relaxation on 1200 m². Relax on the large terrace between lilac and lavender and enjoy the gentle shade provided by the spruce trees.

Surrounded by a picturesque landscape, the Ellertshäuser Lake invites you to numerous activities. Dive into the refreshing water, explore the surroundings while hiking or biking or simply enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.
