About this house
Sometimes there are places that are hard to explain in words and must be experienced with your own eyes. In the middle of the trees and in an absolutely phenomenal location next to Arresø, lies this beautiful architect-designed holiday home. Every detail has been taken care of here. On the wild natural grounds, you'll find the main house and an annex connected by a large wooden terrace. With simple cedar facades, a modern design and a thoroughly Nordic aesthetic, the architecture blends in beautifully with the surrounding nature. The main house has a large kitchen-dining room with an open connection to the living room, where you can enjoy each other's presence. There is also a double bedroom, a bathroom and a loft used for storage.
The annex offers a large multi-room/workshop, a double bedroom, a loft with both a double bed and standing height and a bathroom.
Everywhere you go, you'll enjoy an exceptional sense of space with 4.5' ceilings and amazing natural light. The large windows invite nature inside and the consistently honest use of materials makes the house an exciting sensory experience. Be inspired by the interior design with functional design classics and Sara's beautiful designs or enjoy the warmth in front of the cozy wood-burning stove. You can also explore the wild nature grounds, go for a bike ride in the surrounding area or light a fire with the kids. Just sit back and let the place speak for itself.
