Mountain cabin with sauna and views in Gautefall

About this house

This is a cabin where you can relax and just be. Large windows bring the outdoors in, and the view accompanies you throughout the day—from your morning coffee on the sofa to your evening in bed. Here, the light, the tranquility, and the pine-topped hills set the tone for your stay.

The cabin is spacious and inviting, with room for both togetherness and solitude. There’s space to gather around the table, and space to retreat when you need it. The sauna has become a favorite after days spent out in the fresh air.

Nature begins right outside the door, with the forest as your closest neighbor. The property offers peace and space to breathe deeply, whether you want to sit outside with coffee or simply enjoy the view of the trees.

Gautefall offers easy hikes in the forest, cross-country ski trails in the winter, and the Gautefall Alpine Center nearby. Here you can do a little—or nothing at all—and both feel equally right. There are cozy spots for coffee or lunch, and plenty of great hiking opportunities in both summer and winter. In winter, when the snow settles, it is recommended that you use a four-wheel-drive vehicle or bring snow chains to ensure safe and easy access all the way to the cabin.
