About this house
Welcome to this spacious 150-square-meter archipelago house, located on the car-free island of Rödlöga. Here you can experience genuine archipelago life, where solar panels and kerosene lamps create an authentic atmosphere far from the stress of everyday life.
The airy house offers plenty of space with a well-equipped kitchen and a large dining room with a cast iron stove. You can wash dishes in advance by heating the water on the stove. From the panoramic windows, you have a fantastic view of the inlet. Upstairs, there is a lovely living room and two spacious bedrooms, while the ground floor has a large bedroom with its own exit to the terrace. There is an outdoor shower available on the property. A short flight of stairs leads down to the very clean outhouse.
A large patio with outdoor furniture and a gas grill invites you to enjoy long summer evenings outdoors. The property also has a lawn perfect for games and play, as well as a private sauna down by the water that you can book free of charge.
During high season, you can enjoy the charming country store and café Truten. The island offers fantastic opportunities for rock pooling, berry picking, and walks along the winding paths. Here you can truly relax and let time stand still in the authentic archipelago environment.
