About this house
This late-19th-century Norman villa has sea views from the salon, dining room, and five bedrooms. Fully renovated, it pairs period details — mouldings, patinated parquet floors, fireplaces — with refined contemporary décor. At high tide, the sea reaches the foot of the villa, and you only need to cross the small road to swim.
The house is laid out across several floors, with a bathroom on each level. Each bedroom has a wardrobe or chest of drawers, and two rooms have desks for remote working. The interior blends the warmth of the original architecture with a polished, up-to-date finish throughout.
A small terrace at the front of the house lets you eat outside with the sound of the waves as your backdrop. It is a straightforward spot for a meal in the open air, always with the sea close by.
Grandcamp-Maisy's beach and fishing harbour are nearby, with rock fishing widely practised at low tide. Pointe du Hoc — clifftop bunkers and craters — is a landmark site, though works continue until 2027 with some access restrictions. Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer lie roughly 15–20 km away. Bayeux is around 30 km away.
