In historic Røros, you'll find this charming log building. It is the only remaining building of its kind in Røros, with a listed facade that preserves its unique culture. The interior combines both traditional and modern solutions, which means that even though the history is strong, everything is designed for a comfortable trip for the whole family or group of friends. The living room and main bedroom have a traditional Norwegian feel, with dark timber walls and furnishings in dark wood colors, creating a warm atmosphere.

When you walk in the door, you're greeted by large, original stone slabs in the floor, which, together with the giant fireplace, create a unique atmosphere. The fireplace is so big that you can bring a cup of cocoa and sit in it and feel the warmth of the flames.

Borgstuggu is located in the heart of Røros, one of Europe's oldest wooden towns. Here you can take part in the mining town's exciting history and cultural experiences - while being close to nature and beautiful surroundings. Several rivers run through the town, offering varied fishing opportunities in summer. In winter, Røros offers almost guaranteed snow, which means the whole family can go cross-country skiing on the many ski trails in the area.
