About this house
Welcome to the barn at the old country house in Ålsgårde, where a carefully selected mix of quality materials, subdued, warm tones and historic charm and atmosphere await you. You arrive at the barn through the fine courtyard in the enchanting scent of the large, beautiful rhododendron bushes, and when you step inside, you are immediately enveloped by the warm glow of wide Dinesen Douglas planks, rustic original ceiling beams and the wooden cladding in the kitchen.
In the living room, you can lounge with your legs up on the wide, caramel-colored sofa and enjoy the view of beautiful designer furniture under the exposed beams and high ceilings. Climb onto one of the two loft beds and enjoy the feeling of being tucked away from everyday life with a good book or a well-deserved nap.
From the large, bright bedroom and living room, you can step barefoot out onto the terrace and sit in the morning sun with your first cup of coffee of the day as the world slowly wakes up around you. Enjoy the wind whistling through the large trees before you join hands and explore the forest and beach near the cottage.
