About this house

We've given this classic Kalmar-style house from the 1970s a makeover that opens the home up to the sea and the garden. This creates an extraordinary flow of light and an atmosphere that greets you as soon as you pull into the driveway. You're welcome to split your time between the main house and the charming annex with its own terrace.

The layout's simple and unpretentious: an open-plan kitchen-dining area with a sea view, two bedrooms, and a small bathroom with a toilet. The annex serves as a cosy little “hobbit house” with a large double bed, so those who want to start their day in peace can do so without disturbing the rest of the group. The plot's a natural site with beach roses, grass, and trees. The large terrace winds its way around the house, and from here you've got a view of the Kattegat with sailboats and the occasional large cargo ship on the water. It's a place where you can sit back and let the day unfold at its own pace. Rågegården, with its giant rhododendron bushes, and Rababergård, offering food and local delicacies, are both nearby. Tisvilde and Gilleleje are each about 10 km away and offer fishmongers, grocery stores and shopping. Café Havestuen, 3 km from the holiday home, is open Thursday through Sunday during the summer. Tegners Museum and Munkerup Hus are cultural attractions worth visiting.
