This old wooden house feels warm from the very first moment. The piano takes center stage in the living room, and without a TV, there’s plenty of space to truly spend time together. You can keep an eye on the garden at dusk—deer often make an appearance.
The house is furnished with secondhand furniture and has a genuine homey feel—it’s not a museum. The floors creak, and in the winter, the fire crackles in the open fireplace. There are plenty of toys for children. The professional espresso machine makes café-quality coffee and cappuccino.
The garden is lush and full of edible berries and plants. From here, you have direct access to an old forest trail that leads to fantastic viewpoints less than a ten-minute walk away—perfect for an outdoor breakfast.
The Bohusleden trail runs right by the property. Western Sweden’s most beautiful beaches and coastal towns, such as Hunnebostrand, Smogen, and Fjallbacka, are nearby. Utgards Bageri, with its sourdough bread and Friday pizzas, is just a short drive away.
