About this house
You will find an authentic Swedish farmhouse from the 1840s, secluded in the beautiful countryside of Småland. The house is surrounded by meadows and low mixed forest and has its own swimming lake just 150 meters away with a bathing jetty, canoe and opportunities for pike fishing. It is the perfect setting for those who dream of a classic Swedish summer holiday.
The house offers spacious living rooms with open fireplaces and a large kitchen with dining area. The interior design is functional and tasteful, with wallpaper from Svensk Tenn, among others, which supports the authentic remote farm atmosphere. The house has been maintained with respect for its history and appears inviting and charming.
In addition to the main house, you have access to a sauna, a classic greenhouse, and a small tea pavilion located at the top of the property. The farm is strategically located in the beautiful Småland cultural landscape and shares the area with a sister farm, which can also be rented if you want more beds.
From here, it is about an hour's drive to Astrid Lindgren's World and there are great opportunities for day trips to the Swedish archipelago, Öland, and the beautiful city of Kalmar. The area is located about 70 kilometers northeast of Växjö and offers many different experiences in scenic surroundings.
