About this house
At 920 meters above sea level, this authentic mountain farm is a place where time stands still. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the magnificent views of Storevatn and Skogshorn, while the cows graze peacefully on the pasture around the cabin.
The cozy cabin is perfect for a family or two small families who want to stay close together. With the wood-burning stove heating the room, you can curl up on the sofa with a good book or a hot cup of tea while enjoying the peace and quiet that only the mountains can provide.
From the inviting veranda, you have full access to the pasture, where you can greet the grazing cows or simply enjoy the fresh mountain air. During the dark season, there is a good chance of seeing the magical northern lights thanks to minimal light pollution.
In winter, groomed ski trails pass right by the cabin, with the possibility of trips to Golsfjellet or a 2-mile round trip to the ski arena. In summer, you can explore the area by bike or on foot, and with only 20 minutes to Hemsedal center, you have access to shops, cafes, and a wide range of activities all year round.
