Isefjord and fine views from 70s gem

About this house

An architectural gem awaits you in this beautiful holiday home from the 70s, located on idyllic and charming Orø. Here you are in the middle of scenic surroundings where outdoor and indoor life can merge and time can be spent on and by the water and in the fresh air. Take a nap in the hammock, roast marshmallows over the fire in the fire pit, and walk barefoot to the water's edge to dip your toes in the mirror-like waters of the Isefjord while you breathe deeply.

The soul and original spirit of the cottage is preserved in the period architecture with muted gray-green wood cladding, brick facades and the charming backyard, where afternoon coffee can be enjoyed in the shelter of a cool breeze from the fjord. Black-painted frames, window frames and beams and original interior details give the cottage plenty of character and atmosphere. Respect for the house's history is combined with Danish design, art and glossy white painted floors that reflect the sun and provide beautiful light in the atmospheric rooms.

At the round dining table, you can play games and enjoy delicious meals while your eyes are drawn to the wonderful view through the garden trees to the fjord and headland on the horizon. When the sun sets here, it gives rise to a blaze of color over the water, which can be enjoyed on the terrace with the scent of salt water.
