About this house
This flat in Sjusjøen combines modern comfort with a unique touch of Norwegian craftsmanship. A cabinetmaker and woodcarver born in 1909 crafted much of the furniture, and it gives the room a distinctive character. You'll also find paintings of Rondane and motifs featuring trolls, fairy tales and Norwegian woodcarving.
The flat features modern décor and a sauna. The handcrafted furniture blends naturally with the surroundings at Sjusjøen, creating a harmonious connection between the interior and the outdoors. Here, you can relax after an active day out.
The 19-square-metre terrace has a dining table and chairs, bringing you closer to nature. Start your day with a cup of coffee and enjoy the view of Lake Sjusjøvannet. Grocery stores, sports shops and restaurants are just a short walk away. Sjusjøen offers 350 kilometres of cross-country ski trails, and trails right by the apartment lead directly into the Birkerbeiner trail. The Natrudstilen Ski Centre, with nine slopes and four lifts, lies 6.5 kilometres to the south. In summer, you can hike around Lake Sjusjøvannet, bike along the mountain roads, or rent a canoe. Lillehammer's 22 kilometres away and well worth a visit.
