Blue cottage on idyllic Askø

About this house

On the idyllic island of Askø, you will find Det blå hjertehus (The Blue Heart House), where peace and quiet descend as soon as you step through the door. With its intimate atmosphere and high ceilings, the house provides the perfect setting for quality time with the family, whether you are looking for an active vacation or total relaxation.

The newly renovated kitchen with a view of the Love Trail forms the heart of the house, while the cozy rooms and charming loft provide space for both togetherness and alone time. In the annex, you will find extra sleeping space, perfect for teenagers or guests who want their own space.

The double plot offers both sunny and shady spots where you can enjoy the garden with fruit trees and herbs. The small greenhouse with a bamboo lounge is perfect for rainy days, while the pavilion with mosquito netting invites you to spend warm summer evenings under the open sky.

From the house, you have direct access to the island's path system, which leads you to the beach, sports fields, and fitness area. Explore Askø Harbor, visit the local café Askø-Krukken, or take a trip to Lilleø, where you will find farm shops selling local specialties.
