With its solid fieldstone walls, natural slate roof, and the forest railway passing by, it exudes a timeless atmosphere that will transport you to another era.
The lovingly preserved original details such as wooden floorboards, lattice windows, and exposed ceiling beams characterize the character of the house. Your day begins in the spacious living/dining area with open kitchen. A historic wooden staircase leads to the cozy reading gallery and two bedrooms, while the spacious bathroom surprises with historic church tiles.
The wild garden with its delicate pink climbing roses, moss-covered boulders, and inviting breakfast lawn invites you to linger. Two original wooden sheds, including the former wash house, tell their own stories.
