About this house
This art-filled retreat in the Itria Valley combines the slow pace of life in the Apulian countryside with a private collection of paintings and sculptures that enrich every room. Amid ancient olive groves, dry-stone walls, and rolling hills, you’ll find a space designed for total privacy, creativity, and the rhythm of nature.
The heart of the home is a spacious open-concept living area featuring a sitting area, dining area, and kitchen. Natural materials—white lime and “pastellone”—lend the rooms an authentic character. The beds feature pocket-spring mattresses with high-end toppers. Air conditioning, heating, and a wood-burning fireplace ensure your comfort in every season.
Outside, you’ll find two outdoor areas: a covered patio that flows seamlessly from the living room and a pergola facing the trulli, complete with a dining table, outdoor kitchen, barbecue, and induction cooktop. The private pool is nestled among natural rock, oak trees, and Mediterranean vegetation. In Puglia, water is a precious resource: guests are encouraged to use it thoughtfully.
The property is located in the heart of the Itria Valley. Locorotondo and Cisternino are five minutes away, while Martina Franca and Alberobello are fifteen minutes away. The Costa dei Trulli and Ostuni are about a twenty-minute drive away. In the nearby neighborhoods, you can walk to restaurants, a pizzeria, and a deli known for its capocollo from Martina Franca.
