In the heart of beautiful Evje you'll find this gem of a cottage, which gives you the feeling of stepping into a true Norwegian folk tale - with hints of modern luxury. Logs, small-paned windows, beamed ceilings and raw log walls give a warm, homely sense of tradition, which combined with modern details, beautiful views and abundant wildlife in the area make this a real dream cabin. Here, friends, family and four-legged friends can enjoy cabin life together.
There are countless hiking opportunities in the area around the cabin, and there really is something for everyone, regardless of age and interests. For those who like excitement, there's climbing, rafting, cycling and paintball, which is the perfect contrast to the relaxing cabin life of fishing, hiking, cross-country skiing, swimming and walks in the forest. On the terrace, you can sink into the deep wicker furniture and enjoy both the view and the warmth of the outdoor fireplace, or let tired muscles enjoy a hot bubble bath with a glass of something nice.
After a day of exciting activities, you can leave your clothes and equipment in the spacious hallway and storage room, where you'll also find skis and toboggan boards. In the modern kitchen, you can cook dinner together and enjoy it around the large, beautiful French oak long table. The fireplace is the living room's natural gathering point, and the large windows invite both the view and the beautiful light into the room, which is optimized for intimacy.
The living room also features a traditional, authentic daybed built into the wall. This is a throwback to the days of the storehouse, where both children and adults can curl up with a good book or take a nap. The TV room provides an opportunity to retreat and relax, while the living room is where you gather for games, good conversations and cozy get-togethers.
