About this house
You’ll stay in a historic 13th-century building that was home to the founders of La Pobla de Lillet in 1297. This stately building, designated a cultural asset of national interest, retains its original stonework, which exudes a sense of peace and authenticity in every corner.
The rooms and common areas feature centuries-old stonework that tells the story of the Mataplana barony. The castle has been restored with respect for its past, transforming from a ruin into a stately building without losing its medieval essence.
You’ll have access to an indoor spa area with a jacuzzi and steam room to relax. The living room with a fireplace is the perfect gathering spot to share moments together surrounded by history.
You can visit Gaudí’s Artigas Gardens via the Cement Train. The Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park offers a variety of excursions and activities. La Pobla de Lillet retains its authenticity with hidden gems to discover and the laid-back pace of local life.
The property holds the Biosphere Responsible Tourism certification for sustainable tourism and is part of the Queer Destinations community, which guarantees a mindful, inclusive, and respectful stay for everyone.
