About this house
This guesthouse was once a horse stable. In 2018, the owners converted it into a modern 45-square-metre home with underfloor heating throughout, a private entrance and parking. You'll live close to Aarhus yet still have fields and woods right outside your door.
The layout's simple and functional. An entryway with a utility room, washer, and dryer leads to the bathroom and bedroom. Beyond that, the house opens into a kitchen-dining area with a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher and a Nespresso machine. In the living room, there's a futon with a mattress topper that sleeps two.
The garden, approximately 200 square metres, features a south-facing terrace with views of fields and the forest. The garden's private and belongs exclusively to the guesthouse, so you'll have your own outdoor space to retreat to after a day in Aarhus. The guesthouse borders a road at the end of the garden, so you may hear the sound of passing cars.
The guesthouse sits on the outskirts of the town of Hørret, and Hørret Forest—with its many trails—lies 500 metres away. The Hovstien trail starts about 100 metres from here and leads directly to Vilhelmsborg. Bus route 16 stops right outside, so you can hop on into downtown Aarhus, which is 7 km away.
