Rural oasis in scenic surroundings

About this house

It may not be a classic vacation spot, but that doesn't make it any less amazing. In the enchanting northwestern part of Zealand lies the town of Holmstrup, where the neighbors are few and far between and peace and quiet reign supreme. A very special kind of tranquility that will help even the busiest people slow down and relax. Located in a beautiful clearing on a large natural plot, this peaceful and charming house is surrounded by trees and wildlife. It doesn't get more idyllic than this. The house is originally an old half-timbered barn with a thatched roof, which has been beautifully restored with respect for the original, classic look. It is bright, spacious, and stylish with fine, personal details. The large, bright living room has direct access to the garden, where you can enjoy the evening sun on the terrace to the sound of birds singing. The interior design is minimalist with a mix of old and new furniture. You will immediately feel at home and comfortable in the cozy country-style kitchen, the high ceilings on the upper floor, and the house's unique tranquility. You can undoubtedly feel nature close by. At the end of the garden is a fantastic forest that invites you to take walks and enjoy the surroundings. The house is located in scenic surroundings with unique, hilly terrain left over from the Ice Age, which provides a fantastic view of the forest. In addition, the house is sheltered by a slope that surrounds the entire property. It is completely undisturbed, which often attracts pheasants and deer to visit the garden. Just a 15-minute drive from the house is Vesterlyng, one of Denmark's most beautiful natural beaches. Here you can spend hours basking in the sun, in the soft white sand or out on the waves on a surfboard or out on the deep sea in a kayak.
