Cottage with flower garden and veranda on Hvasser

About this house

The cabin features a light, summery style with bright colors like white and beige, and rattan accents that create a Mediterranean atmosphere. A large painting from France adorns the entryway and sets the tone for your stay. The open layout connecting the kitchen, dining area, and living room makes it easy to socialize when you’re all together.

The garden has different areas suited for both play and relaxation. A large lawn provides space for the children’s activities, while the terrace just outside the kitchen features an inviting lounge set. The children have their own cozy nook with a long bench, cushions, and mattresses. The large porch has several seating areas and a grill, perfect for long summer evenings.

Beautiful flowers and trees that bloom at different times bring the garden to life throughout the season. Here you’ll find both sunny and shaded spots to enjoy the summer weather.

Hvasser and the neighboring island of Tjøme offer countless experiences. Bike or walk to Sandøysund for ice cream, pizza at sunset, or crab fishing from the pier. You can swim at Krøkle Syd beach just 4–5 minutes away, or visit the shallow sandy beach at Lilleskagen. The coastal trail around the entire island offers great hiking opportunities, and on Tjøme you’ll find a golf course, mini-golf, tennis, and the famous view at Verdens Ende.
