On the beautiful island of Ærø and in the heart of the old skipper village Marstal lies this cosy skipper house. Here you can stroll through the small streets down to the harbour, enjoy a warm summer evening in the house's idyllic, south-facing courtyard or feel the wind against your face on bike rides around the island, which lies in the South Funen archipelago. Perhaps surprisingly for a house with history, there are a full two metres of ceiling space inside, and the old beams in the ceilings are complimented by bright, calm rooms. The small but functional kitchen has everything you need, and the simple decor adds to the sense of calm.
Enter through the romantic courtyard, which faces Marstal's cosy Skippergade, and let the peace and quiet wash over you. The little oasis where the scent of roses spreads in summer is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee before exploring the island or to enjoy refreshments after a long day of adventure.
