About this house
An ecologically renovated four-sided farmhouse on a quiet village street in the Altmark region: Spanning two floors with three bedrooms, it can accommodate up to seven people. What makes this place special is the juxtaposition of very old and brand-new elements that runs throughout the entire house.
Sanded-down floorboards bear visible signs of age, restored clay walls ensure a pleasant indoor climate, and old doors, beams, and wall patterns have been preserved. Alongside these are modern fixtures and clean lines that make everyday life easier. High-speed fiber-optic internet also makes remote work possible.
The complex of buildings forms an enclosed courtyard, which is convenient for families and dog owners. Several seating areas, a fire pit, and a charcoal grill invite you to enjoy the outdoors. You can explore the countryside via the surrounding dirt roads, and the forest swimming areas in Seehausen or Möllnbeck offer a refreshing dip in the lake.
About a quarter of an hour away lies the climatic health resort of Arendsee, offering sports, recreation, and culinary delights. In Wittenberge, you’ll find the Loft SPA and the Friedensteich. Stendal is another town in the region well worth a visit.
