Warm and luxurious cabin with great views

About this house

This is a home designed with a clear vision: a modern mountain home without the classic mountain clichés. Perched high on Järvsöbacken, just about 200 meters from the six-person chairlift, it combines exclusive materials and soft tones with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to feel at home. You’re welcomed into a home that’s thoughtfully designed but never contrived.

Spanning approximately 80 square meters over two floors, there’s room for up to eight people. The social areas are the natural heart of the house—perfect for cooking, long dinners, and evenings spent together. The interior design is contemporary and sophisticated, with carefully selected details and a subtle sense of luxury. The sauna is a highlight after an active day.

The contrast between the modern interior and the natural surroundings is a central part of the house’s character. When you step outside, the mountains and the landscape around Järvsö greet you immediately. The elevated location near Järvsöbacken brings nature close in every season, whether snow or green forests await outside.

Järvsöbacken, with its mountain bike park and hiking trails, is nearby, as are restaurants such as Restaurang Sydsidan and Köttbaren Järvsö. Järvsö Creperie and Järvsö Lanthandel are popular stops for food and local produce. You’ll also find Champagnebaren, Stenegård, and Järvzoo in the area—Järvsö offers activities and experiences year-round.
