1800s farmhouse in the rolling Skivarp hills

About this house

This charming 19th-century Skåne row house surprises with its spaciousness and social floor plan. The house is located in rural Krågarp, surrounded by fields, with a glimpse of the sea in the distance from the skylight on the upper floor. The garden is a private oasis with a boxwood parterre and tall poplars that create a sense of calm and seclusion.

The open floor plan between the kitchen and living room provides light and space. The living room features a partially open ceiling and a record player with Bluetooth speakers. You have four bedrooms spread over two floors, a bathroom, and a practical laundry room. The entryway and one bedroom feature limestone floors with underfloor heating, and two heat pumps maintain a comfortable temperature year-round.

Outdoors, you’ll find the outdoor kitchen—perfect for gathering with friends and family—while the summer room (open May–September) is bathed in beautiful evening light. The garden features poplars, elms, and a rosehip hedge, creating a harmonious environment. The barn houses bicycles, a grill, and beach gear. Please note that the staircase from the entryway is steep, which is good to know if you have small children with you.

Mossbystrand is just three kilometers away—a perfect cycling distance to the sandy beach. Explore the golf courses in Abbekås and Beddingsstrand, visit Svaneholm Castle or Ystad Zoo. Restaurants like Hörtebrygga and Bongska Huset are nearby, as are wineries and art galleries. Ystad and the entire Österlen region, including Simrishamn, Kivik, and Ales Stenar, are easily accessible, while Malmö and Lund can be reached in half an hour.
