About this house
High above the Black Forest village of Menzenschwand, an architectural masterpiece awaits you, blending harmoniously into the hillside. Designed by Stuttgart architects Sonja Nagel and Jan Theissen, the house combines traditional Black Forest architecture with modern design and offers breathtaking views over the valley.
The 110 square meters are spread over various levels connected by steps, creating a unique living experience. The spacious living and dining area with a fireplace is illuminated by floor-to-ceiling windows. Three comfortable bedrooms, two modern bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen offer every comfort for six people.
The balcony and natural garden invite you to linger. The characteristic roof shape with its generous overhangs creates sheltered outdoor areas from which you can enjoy the Black Forest nature.
From here, you can reach the Feldberg ski area with 30 km of slopes, numerous hiking trails, and the Radon Revitalbad spa on foot. The Schluchsee and Titisee lakes are in the immediate vicinity, and excursion destinations such as Freiburg, Basel, and Lake Constance are within an hour's drive.
