About this house
Welcome to this charming 60s cottage where aesthetics and simplicity meet in a beautiful symphony of ocean colors. The unique ceiling-to-ceiling construction gives the space an airy and open atmosphere, while the wood-burning stove adds a cozy element on chilly days.
The interior design is deliberately minimalist, making the small spaces feel larger and more inviting. The colors are inspired by the sea and the beach, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The open floor plan connects the living room and kitchen, making it easy to gather around the stove after a day outdoors. The wood-burning stove is the primary source of heat. The annex can be used from May to November.
Outside you can enjoy the garden, which is as charming as the house itself. On the side of the house is the house bath - an outdoor shower surrounded by trees and shrubs, where you can take a hot shower in complete privacy under the open sky. The private breakfast bench and viewing deck offer spectacular views of the Baltic Sea, perfect for morning coffee or a quiet moment with a book.
The area around Als offers many attractions. From historic Sønderborg with its castle and cozy shops, to scenic walks around Kegnæs. Enjoy local specialties such as fresh fish and South Jutland sausages or a trip to the nearby ice cream parlor and playground.
