About this house

A carpenter built this house in 1965 for himself and his wife. The original toolbox is still in the house. Inside, the ceilings are high and there’s plenty of space to relax—you step into a home with a genuine history behind it.

The house offers an atmosphere where the high ceilings provide a sense of airiness and space. There’s room to gather, breathe, and find peace. The bedrooms and bathroom are arranged so you've got everything you need for a great holiday.

The garden's large and perfect for all kinds of outdoor activities. You can sunbathe on the lawn, let the kids play, light a fire, or sit on the patio with a refreshing drink. There's also an outdoor shower for after an active day.

In the area, Café Alrø is a must-visit—featured on *Beard Meets Food*. Be sure to book a table well in advance. You can also visit the distillery in Amstrup, buy vegetables and pottery at the roadside stand on Alrøvej, go for hikes, swim at the dam, or take the bike ferry to Hjarnø.
