About this house
In this authentic log cabin, built by local craftsmen known for their work on the Royal Farm at Bygdøy, a genuine Norwegian mountain experience awaits you. Here you can enjoy the view of the mountain landscape from the cozy shelter with outdoor grill.
The cabin is built using traditional methods with timber and stave walls, and represents high-quality craftsmanship. The well-thought-out floor plan provides the perfect setting for family vacations and gatherings with friends in the mountains.
The property has an inviting courtyard where the gapahuken forms a natural gathering place. Here you can gather around the barbecue and enjoy meals with panoramic views of the mountains.
From the cabin, you have direct access to a network of hiking trails that lead to Høgevarde and Gråfjell. In summer, you can see wild reindeer in the area, fish in nearby waters or try out the professionally designed downhill trails. The children's park in Flå is perfect for the little ones, and in August you may be lucky enough to find cloudberries in the mountains.
