Thatched cottage near family beach in Odsherred

About this house

You’ll find your very own summer retreat in this charming, thatched-roof cottage—just a 10-minute walk from one of the area’s most beautiful and child-friendly sandy beaches. Here, you can start your day with a morning dip in the ocean, enjoy coffee in the sun, and let the days unfold at your own pace.

The decor is personal, warm, and inviting, with a focus on comfort and aesthetics. The kitchen is well-equipped with a dishwasher and oven, and on chilly days, the wood-burning stove creates a very special atmosphere. There’s room for the whole family with a bedroom, a bright living room with a sofa bed, and a cozy annex.

The large, green garden is your own private retreat with several seating areas, a hammock, and sunny nooks. It’s designed for both relaxation and play, featuring a trampoline, disc golf, pole tennis, a baby swing, and other garden games. Indoors, puzzles, board games, toys, and a train set await for hours of fun.

The beach is just 700 meters away with shallow water extending far out—perfect for families with children. You can hike through Høve Forest to Klinten, visit the local gem Lillero by the water, or explore the UNESCO Global Geopark. Sommerland Sjælland, Dragsholm Castle, and Copenhagen are all within a short distance.
