About this house
You’ll find the house in the middle of the forest on a 3,033 m² natural lot, where the protected forest stretches out before you and the trees grow right up close. All year round, you’ll experience nature up close—from birdsong in the morning to the sunset shining through the treetops.
The architect-designed house is clad in cedar and blends harmoniously with the forest. Inside, you’ll find a serene, Nordic interior with light-colored materials, clean lines, and plenty of open space. Large windows and patio doors create a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors.
The large terrace winds around the existing trees, which continue to grow right through the house’s structure. Here, you can enjoy your morning coffee, take a shower under the open sky in the outdoor shower, and let the forest be a natural part of your stay.
Mariager Bytorv, with its cafés, ice cream shop, and specialty stores, is just a 10-minute walk away. Try the certified hiking trail, visit Thomas Dambo’s troll in Munkholmsanlægget, take a dip from Birgitta Bridge, or enjoy a homemade kringle at Hotel Postgården.
