About this house
In Gålå, in the middle of one of Norway's most beautiful mountain areas, you'll find this unique log cabin with its charming aesthetic and grass on the roof that becomes part of nature. There's plenty of space to retreat and enjoy time with family and friends in the large, bright rooms. The sense of quality is expressed throughout the cabin and the many beautiful details, such as the light in the wardrobes and the good beds with mattresses in natural materials.
The living room has high ceilings. Tall windows that let in beautiful light and the built-in fireplace give you an almost stately atmosphere, and with no TV in the room, your gaze naturally falls on the view or the flames in the fireplace. The vast landscape and dancing flames bring peace of mind. The TV lounge is located under the roof on the first floor, where you can snuggle up together and enjoy a good movie. In the colder months, the sauna offers extra pampering and relaxation.
When you step out of the cabin, it soon becomes clear that the cabin is the highest of all in the area, with the high mountains free and accessible, while Gålåvatnet lake sparkles down in the valley. Enjoy the fresh mountain air as you fire up the barbecue and enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace. In winter, it's all about skiing, as there is direct access to the slopes.
Ski in / ski out: There are both cross-country ski trails and alpine resorts right outside the cabin.
Ski resorts nearby: 0 min to Gålå Alpin and Aktiv and 50 min to Kvitfjell Ski Resort.
