About this house
Between Dronningmølle and Hornbæk Strand is this holiday home, which is like something out of Badehotellet. Just 100 meters from the house you have a beach where you can take a fresh morning dip. When you return, you can warm up in front of the tiled stove and prepare delicious food in the cozy kitchen. Serve outdoors with a view of the beautiful garden, its tall trees and, not least, the well that takes you back to a bygone era.
The style is consistent throughout the house, with mullioned windows, striped wallpaper and gold-framed paintings creating an atmosphere of nostalgia. You can open the patio doors to the garden, so you can still feel the outdoors during your dinners in the dining room. Complete the look by lighting candles while you enjoy your food. From the first floor, you can sense the water so close to you.
Just outside the house, you have access to the Nordkyststien, a hiking trail along the coast of North Zealand. Take in the beautiful landscape and see the area's gems along the way before returning home for refreshments on the terrace and watch the sun set over you.
Be aware that the stairs can be steep, the house is still great for small children, with the enclosed garden and child-friendly beach.
