Colourful cottage near Gudmindrup Beach

About this house

Just a short trip from beautiful Gudmindrup Strand lies this sparkling gem, decorated with attention to detail and a kick in the color palette. A perfect retreat for the family or couple of friends who want to surround themselves with forest, beach and beautiful surroundings.

Your host has lovingly refurbished the house with carefully selected colors, quirky elements and inventions to get lost in - like the striped entrance hall and the two bedrooms, each with its own character: the salmon-colored room gives a cozy cave feeling, while the green room is romantically decorated with patterned wallpaper and a skylight overlooking the starry sky and morning sun.

The heart of the cottage is its living room, which unites the living room, dining area and kitchen and invites nature inside with its large windows. Here you can curl up on the floating sofa or settle down in the cozy zone with a good book while the fire crackles in the wood-burning stove and the evening chefs work their magic in the kitchen. If you need a moment alone, you can snuggle up behind the curtain in the alcove, which serves as both a cozy den and extra sleeping space.

From the living room, the doors lead out to the large wooden terrace that surrounds the cottage. Here you can relax in the quirky bamboo furniture or eat fresh fish from Odden Harbor for lunch. On the 2800 square meter plot, there is plenty of space to challenge each other in football and croquet when you're not roasting marshmallows in the glow of the flames by the fire pit.
