The sunspot between the trees at Rågeleje

About this house

At cozy Rågeleje on Zealand's beautiful North Coast, this fine holiday home is located between tall trees on a peaceful plot, which exudes an idyllic forest atmosphere. Here there is room for the family or friends to unfold in the spacious house with the bright and homely decorated rooms.

The open-plan kitchen-dining room is a great place to gather, while the wood-burning stove in the center of the room spreads warmth to all corners. Enjoy meals in the dining nook with the cozy corner bench, or spend a quiet moment with a good book in one of the retro armchairs in the reading nook. The decor is warm with carefully selected flea market finds and many personalized details. Throughout the house, blue colors recur in cushions, pictures, lamps and furniture and form a nice, red thread through the rooms.

On four sides of the house you will find the beautiful wooden terraces, each with its own exit. Surround yourself with the many green plants and small trees in large, beautiful pots while you enjoy the sun, or gather around the delicious barbecue under one of the canopies. If you fancy a swim, it's not far to Rågeleje Strand, where the iconic striped bathing houses adorn the beach.
