About this house
This architect-designed summer house from 2012 offers a unique experience with views of the open countryside, where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets and observe harriers and deer, which often visit the area.
The interior of the house offers a charming mix of personal flea market finds, rough-plastered walls, and light wood floors. The wood-burning stove creates a warm atmosphere and makes the house perfect for year-round use. The cottage is energy efficient with solar panels and built with breathable materials that provide a good indoor climate.
The secluded location ensures peace and quiet while you enjoy the fantastic light and surrounding nature. The garden provides the perfect base for experiencing the island's wildlife up close. The garden is wild by design and buzzes with insects, bees, and various butterflies.
From your base on Sejerø, you have easy access to the island's many attractions. Explore the beautiful beaches or try your hand at local coastal fishing for sea trout. The cottage is within walking/cycling distance of the ferry and the local grocery store.
