About this house
In this charming red cottage, which once belonged to the Swedish postal service, you can enjoy an authentic Swedish nature experience. With lake views and meadows as neighbors, the cottage creates a perfect retreat for those seeking peace and quiet.
A bright living room with a fireplace forms the heart of the cottage, with ceilings up to the ridge and large windows framing the spectacle of nature. Two cozy bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a collection of vinyl records create an atmosphere where you can easily relax without TV and wifi.
In the garden, there are large grassy areas for playing and relaxing, an inviting hammock under the aspens and a solar-heated outdoor shower overlooking the meadows. The separate sauna offers a sauna and a relaxation room that can be used as an extra sleeping area.
From your own jetty you can take a dip in the lake or go out with the rowing boat. The area offers five lakes within walking distance, mushroom-rich forests and charming villages such as Bjärnum and Vittsjö with local cafes and shops.
