Architect-designed house among dunes and trees

About this house

Welcome to this beautiful architect-designed house, nestled quietly between sand dunes and pine trees, where the wind sings in the treetops and light filters through the trunks. The architecture is designed with the landscape and the changing seasons in mind—a simple, elongated structure that shifts and creates shelter, outdoor spaces, and views of nature.

Inside, you are greeted by warm pine surfaces, where the materials scent the air and age beautifully. Light moves through the rooms throughout the day, creating shifting moods, from soft morning light to deep tones at sunset. The house is conceived as a tranquil sanctuary where architecture and interior design are closely intertwined.

Outside, terraces, an outdoor kitchen, a sauna, and a wilderness bath invite you to be close to nature. Around the house, small gathering areas emerge where you can find sun, shade, or shelter depending on the wind direction, even as the seasons change.

Just behind the house lies a dune with a view of the landscape, perfect for watching the sunset. The wide sandy beach in Klitmøller is always worth a visit, whether you want to surf or go for long walks. Thy National Park offers dune heaths, forests, and lakes, ideal for hiking and nature experiences year-round.
