About this house
In the sought-after cottage area along the coast of North Zealand, you'll find this elderly lady who has been given a loving hand and a turn with the paintbrush in recent years. Open the large glass doors of the bedroom wide open and enjoy slow mornings overlooking the garden while the wind rustles the curtains and the birds sing.
A ten-minute walk will land you on the beach and at Heatherhill, a hilly landscape reminiscent of the Scottish Highlands. If you're lucky, there's the occasional goat or two grazing and happy to say hello. The house is a few years old, but is now super sharp with great light, a modernized kitchen, planed floors and a good water supply so you can take hot showers without worry. The host has made a virtue of adding a personal touch to the house, which is reflected in the lovely knick-knacks and flea market finds. Outside, enjoy the Danish summer weather on the south-facing terraces, as well as the view of the private nature plot that is wild with purpose.
