About this house
Just an hour's drive from Copenhagen is the cozy seaside town of Liseleje. Here you'll find this idyllic cottage from 1926, with enough space for extended family or friends to enjoy a few days with a traditional cottage atmosphere and modern conveniences.
In every room, the simple, elegant decor creates a sense of lightness, while details such as colored tiles and a few retro furniture pieces add warmth and personality. In the kitchen-dining room, the open-plan living area has a vaulted ceiling, while the raw brick of the chimney gives the space a rustic charm. Enjoy a quiet moment with a cup of coffee in the bay window, which lets in beautiful light through the mullioned windows. In the sofa corner in the living room, you can watch a movie while closing the sliding door so the rest of the house is not disturbed.
Outside, the covered terrace is sheltered and the bamboo furniture invites pure relaxation. Enjoy the peace and quiet in the hanging chair while the children play on the grass or let their imaginations run wild in the cave in the pine trees. If you want to explore the area, you can take a walk along the plantation to Hyllingebjerg and back to Liseleje along the beach along the water. Between Frederiksværk and Hundested you'll find the organic village, Økosamfundet Dyssekilde, where you can get inspired on an exciting guided tour.
