About this house
Surrounded by stunning mountain scenery in Lofoten, you'll find this unique, architect-designed holiday home. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind cabin in spectacular natural surroundings, with thoughtful and sustainable design choices, this holiday home is worth a visit.
The entire interior of the holiday home is made of untreated pine wood, which contrasts with the black design elements to create a stylish look for the entire house. When you enter the house, the large windows overlooking the Lofoten mountains are a natural eye-catcher. Here you get a fantastic view of the fjord and mountainside, which almost brings nature into the house. Note in particular the green sofa, which stands out from the rest of the design choices, where you can enjoy the view of the northern lights as they peek out and observe the sea eagle. The excellent location is all the more special because Higravtinden is located right behind the house and is known for its fantastic cross-country skiing trails.
The area around the holiday home offers spectacular nature experiences, such as Morfjorden Nature Reserve and the highest point in Lofoten, Higravstindan. In Lofoten you'll also find fantastic beaches where you can swim in summer or surf in winter. Every year from the end of September to March, you can see the magical Northern Lights, which often appear in this part of the country, and experience the magical midnight sun in the summer. Experience the Trollfjord, or take a boat trip in Svolvær, 20 minutes from the location and scout for sea eagles. If you want to experience the bustling city life while you're at the house, head to Henningsvær with its charming shops and cafés.
Ski in / ski out: Cross-country ski trails right outside the cottage.
Ski resorts nearby: approx. 31 min to Kongstind alpine center.
