On the upper floor of a roughly 300-year-old half-timbered house in Schweina, you'll find an apartment where historic details blend seamlessly with modern comforts. Original wooden doors, restored wooden floors, and historic Bakelite light switches bring the character of the house to life in this 50-square-metre space.

The interior combines traditional materials with modern technology: wall-mounted heating, discreetly integrated into the clay plaster, provides cosy warmth. The apartment's designed for two people and features a bathroom with a spacious bathtub—ideal for unwinding after a long day.

A sunny loggia is available for shared use by all guests of the house. It’s the perfect spot for your first cup of coffee in the morning or a relaxing glass of wine in the evening. Altenstein Castle and Park are nearby and invite you to take walks along their expansive paths. Wartburg Castle near Eisenach offers impressive architecture and history.
