About this house
At the foot of the Cortzelitz Forest lies this charming half-timbered house surrounded by fields and overlooking the ancient forest Halskov Vænge. Here you'll find peace and authenticity in natural surroundings with room to let your imagination run free.
The house has been carefully renovated with respect for its history, where original materials such as old heartwood windows from the 1920s and carpenter-built doors from a closed hotel create a special atmosphere. The many rooms provide space for the whole family to socialize and contemplate.
The garden is a chapter in itself with its many rooms and atmospheres. There's a vegetable garden with fruit bushes, a nostalgic courtyard with original outbuildings, a front garden with a fire pit and hammock, an apple orchard and cherry grove. At the end, a small meadow and a former gravel pit await for adventure.
Explore the idyllic fishing village of Hesnæs, enjoy a meal at the Pomle Nakke or wander through the historic garden of Cortzelitze Estate. The local beaches and forests offer countless opportunities for nature experiences, and the area is known for its rich wildlife with deer, squirrels and night owls.
