About this house
From this charming house overlooking the sea, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of Birkeland. From both the living room and the first floor, you can gaze out over the water, while at night you can hear the owls calling from the surrounding forests and fields.
The house is decorated in a bright and relaxed style with personal touches and recycled finds on the shelves. The interior is spread over two floors with bedrooms on both the ground floor and first floor, where the master bedroom offers a balcony overlooking a majestic elm tree.
The large garden with fruit trees borders a field that is sometimes used as a paddock. A spacious terrace under the large tree provides a setting for outdoor gatherings, while the barn has been converted into a practical laundry room for cleaning the day's catch.
In the area around Birkeland, you will find both scenic hiking trails and cultural experiences. Explore castles and manor houses, visit the local quality restaurants, or explore the old forests where deer hide among the trees.
