The cabin stands on stilts about three meters above the ground, so you get a unique feeling of sitting in the top of the trees while all the light wood in the cabin gives you a feeling of being one with the forest, even when you're inside. The carpenter-built kitchen offers plenty of opportunity to conjure up family favorites, while the large terrace allows you to enjoy not only good meals and good company, but also the silence and views of sea, forest and sky. The large bedroom in the cabin is completely unique, with huge windows that allow you to lie under the duvet and look out over the 1,000-year-old primeval forest, the boat traffic towards Fredrikstad and the clear starry sky that gives you the feeling of symbiosis between the cabin and Storesand's magnificent nature. Storesand and Hvaler are places that are perfect to explore both on land and at sea. Go island hopping in the Oslofjord or follow the coastal path through a varied landscape with everything from wild nature to works of art and medieval churches. If you're in need of some city life, take a trip to Skjærhalden town center, where you'll find restaurants, shops and the pleasant guest harbor.
