About this house
The view of the water accompanies you through many of the house’s rooms—all year round. Here you’ll find tranquillity and a unique atmosphere, created by recycled and heirloom furniture full of character and history. Enjoy summer life at the swim dock or winter bird songs from one of the terraces.
The interior design has character and personality, with each piece of furniture telling its own story. The new Continental beds ensure a good night’s sleep, while the rest of the furnishings reflect thoughtfulness and sustainability.
Outside, you’ll find several terraces where you can enjoy breakfast in the sun or the evening’s tranquillity. In the summer, the pier buzzes with life, and across the water towards Bognæs, you can watch eagles nesting and wildlife roaming freely.
Roskilde Cathedral and the Viking Ship Museum are within easy reach, as is Gershøj Kro along the coast. Take the cable ferry to Orø, hike the Skjoldungestien trail through historic countryside, or visit Selsø Castle. Herslev Brewery and Sæby Beach are nearby, and Copenhagen's within easy reach.
