About this house
This lovingly renovated Nordic longhouse from 1880 sits enthroned on the historic central dyke of Pellworm. The unobstructed view over the marshland, where sheep and cows graze, promises absolute tranquillity and authentic island life.
The interior combines timeless design classics with cozy elements. A special highlight is the lounger net for relaxing and the romantic platform bed with a view of the starry sky. The open-plan living area with fireplace invites you to linger, especially in the cooler months of the year.
The enchanted insect garden offers a private retreat with a small stream. From the terrace you can enjoy spectacular sunsets while awaiting the regular visit of Johann, the resident pheasant.
The green marshland island of Pellworm is a paradise for nature lovers. In just a few minutes you can reach the North Sea for mudflat walks, buy fresh crabs straight from the cutter or visit the local cheese dairy. The car-free island is perfect for long bike tours.
