About this house
Undisturbed on a small hilltop at the end of a quiet road is this lovely black wooden holiday home. Close to the idyllic coastal town of Liseleje in North Zealand, it invites you to relax and enjoy an old-fashioned beach vacation. In the house on the peaceful grounds, there's plenty of space for the extended family to get into the right mood.
Inside, you'll be greeted by a nostalgic feeling as the mullioned windows allow light to flood into the rooms and several pieces of retro furniture evoke memories of a simpler time. Enjoy your morning coffee on the benches around the dining table in the bay window, or gather on the large soft sofa for a cozy game night. Even in the kitchen, the old blue cabinets help create an authentic cottage atmosphere.
The garden is lovely and wild, while the lawn is perfect for a game of football or croquet. From the bench at the top of the plot, there is a beautiful view of the old Melby Mill and the surrounding hilly landscape. Spend a quiet moment with a book in the hammock or go mushroom hunting in the forest in the fall. If you fancy a longer walk, we recommend exploring Asserbo Plantation and ending the trip with a delicious lunch at the beach hotel in Liseleje.
